My clients had renovated their kitchen over twenty years ago, at a time when the house was still shaped by daily family life. Today, with their children having left home, their needs had changed: a different use of the dining area, storage to be reconsidered, and above all the desire to modernise a space that had become visually overloaded.

They wished to remain fully in control of their project while benefiting from professional guidance to clarify their brief and make informed choices regarding colours and materials.

Following an initial phone consultation and a detailed analysis of the existing kitchen, I proposed a preliminary layout sketch, drawn by hand, along with a series of targeted recommendations focused on materials and finishes.

This focused yet structuring intervention gave them the clarity and confidence needed to move forward with their project, with clear objectives and a well-defined design direction.
