Reimagining a South London townhouse with open volumes and abundant natural light for modern family living

This south London townhouse was fully renovated from top to bottom.

On the ground floor, the layout was completely reconfigured. The opening of several load-bearing walls allowed for the creation of a generous open-plan living space combining lounge, dining area and open kitchen, along with a dedicated children’s play area. Additional technical spaces were also introduced, including a guest WC and a utility room used as a laundry, plant room and secondary kitchen.

On the upper floor, two bedrooms were combined to create a spacious master suite comprising a bedroom, a dressing room and a bathroom. The children’s bedrooms and shared bathroom were redesigned to form a bright, cohesive and functional family space.
